Alpha have made a big hit in the engine market over the last 12 months offering unrivalled power and performance with outstanding value. Now they launch the A872 7+2 Port Race Engine.

 

The Alpha Plus A872 is the ideal club and National racer engine, featuring a 7+2 Port construction the engine provides very smooth and progressive bottom end to mid-range power, with a impressive ammount of top end RPM. Overall however the engine feels very linear, controllable and retains a good fuel economy over. This then would make an great choice for 1/8 buggies for use on large open tracks.

 

 

Each engine comes complete with a 0.10mm head shim which is necessary for operating the engine on 30% fuel and a set of 2 alternative carb restrictors, to help further tune the engines power and economy.
